Ying Li – piano

Ying Li won the 2021 Antonio Mormone International Award and the Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions and has been awarded in numerous other international competitions.
Soloist with important orchestras such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestra dell’Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, New Jersey Symphony, Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, NWD-Philharmoniker, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Dortmund Philharmoniker, Buffalo Symphony, Deutsche StaatsPhilharmonie Rheinland Pfalz, SouthWest Florida Symphony, he has collaborated with conductors such as Gabriel Feltz, Dan Ettinger, Lina Gonzalez-Granados, Xian Zhang, Eric Jacobsen, Jonathon Heyward, Toshiyuki Kamioka, Julio Garcia Vico, PierCarlo Orizio. She made his debut at the Teatro alla Scala, Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Theater in Washington, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Fazioli Concert Hall, Liederhalle in Stuttgart, Dortmund Theater, Parco della Musica in Rome, Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo, Verbier Festival, Classiche Forme, Lincoln Center of New York, Ravinia Festival and La Jolla Music Society.
A passionate chamber musician, Ying began her musical studies at the age of 5 in China at the Beijing Central Conservatory. In 2012 she moved to Philadelphia to study at the Curtis Institute of Music with Jonathan Biss and Seymour Lipkin. After graduation, she obtained a Master of Music at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York under the guidance of Robert McDonald. Her debut CD for Decca is dedicated to Mozart and Bartók.
