Andrea Goretti – piano

Andrea Goretti graduated in classical piano and jazz piano at the conservatories of Parma and Milan. He has two solo piano albums with original music, improvisations and reworkings of music from the 1920s, and a trio album with saxophone and drums with his original songs. An eclectic artist, he has participated in various conductions (Teatro Regio di Parma, recorded on DVD for Parma Frontiere Jazz) and international radical improvisation festivals (Oooh Festival, RARA Festival), improvised in piano solo on silent films (Le Giornate del Cinema Muto di Pordenone) and projections of photographs (Il jazz italiano per l’Aquila with Domenico Santonocito), performed and recorded music by the composer Stefano Gueresi, collaborated on the experimental musical theater project (Digitans with the composer Alessandro Boratti), created the original show “Tempo Indefinito ” with the choreography Maria Grazia Marrazzo, accompanied by a Chinese erhu musician (traditional Chinese music). He performed at the Met Jazz, Fara Music Festival, Piano Lab, Parma Frontiere Jazz. He works as a dance pianist at the Liceo Coreutico in Mantua.
