Andrea Rebaudengo - piano

Andrea Rebaudengo studied piano with Paolo Bordoni, Lazar Berman, Alexander Lonquich, Andrzej Jasinsky and composition with Danilo Lorenzini.
He won first prize at the Pescara International Piano Competition in 1998, third prize at the “Robert Schumann” Competition in Zwickau in 2000 and at the Premio Venezia 1993.
He has played for the most important Italian concert institutions, including the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Unione Musicale in Turin, the Ravello Festival, the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Musica Insieme in Bologna, the Ravenna Festival. He has performed throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, Colombia, Argentina, Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates.
He has played as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Rai Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, the Zwickau Symphony Orchestra and the “Giuseppe Verdi” Symphony Orchestra of Milan.
He is the pianist of the Sentieri selvaggi ensemble with which he has performed in the main Italian and European festivals, often presenting first performances of authors such as Louis Andriessen, Michael Nyman, David Lang, James MacMillan, Mark-Anthony Turnage, Julia Wolfe, Luca Francesconi, Ivan Fedele, Fabio Vacchi.
He plays in a duo with Danusha Waskiewicz, with Cristina Zavalloni, with Simone Beneventi and with Emanuele Arciuli.
He is the pianist of the Ensemble of the Teatro Grande of Brescia and of “Solo Goldberg Improvisation”, with Virgilio Sieni.
He teaches at the Milan Conservatory and holds a seminar at the Lugano Conservatory.
