Antonia Valente – piano

A passionate chamber musician, Antonia Valente has acquired significant experience over the years as a partner of various soloists on the international scene, both in the instrumental repertoire and in the Lied. She played regularly alongside the Colombian soprano Betty Garcés, in a duo with Antonio Anselmi, her great mentor who died prematurely, as well as in numerous musical projects as permanent pianist of the Ensemble ’05, a formation which led her to explore a large number of innovative programs, original productions and unpublished collaborations, at the basis of the Rirati Festival, which she created and directed since 2005 together with Massimo Felici. Together with the French artistic eclectic Anne-Lise Binard, she collaborates in the creation of musical dance-theater shows, including the recent FINE SERATA.
Antonia was a teacher at the Hochschule für Musik Theater und Medien in Hannover and since 2016 she has collaborated as a piano repertoire teacher at the Escuela Superior de Musica “Reina Sofia” in Madrid and at the Katarina Gurska University Center. She is a Chamber Music Teacher at the Matera Music Conservatory.
Antonia trained under the guidance of Benedetto Lupo and Roberto Bollea at the Monopoli Conservatory of Music, and at the Hochschule für Musik of Freiburg im Breisgau and the HMTM Hannover. She also completed the Master for soloists with the orchestra with honors (2008). Masters and mentors such as G.Lenoci, C.Martinez-Mehner, A.Jasinski, C.Burato, R.Levin, K.Moretti and for chamber music K.Bogino, J.Widmann, JPSchulze, J.Zeyen, are were of great influence on his artistic training.
