Kirill Troussov - violin

Born in St. Petersburg, Kirill Troussov began studying the violin at the age of four at the “Rimsky-Korsakov” Conservatory in Moscow. He studied with Zakhar Bron and Christoph Poppen and the development of his artistic career was accompanied by mentors such as Igor Oistrakh, Herman Krebbers and Sir Yehudi Menuhin.
Kirill Troussov has received the “Pro-Europa” prize, the “Yamaha Prize”, the “Davidoff-Prize” of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and numerous other prizes in international competitions. He has collaborated with famous conductors such as Sir Neville Marriner, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Daniele Gatti, Lawrence Foster, Michail Jurowski, Christoph Poppen, Vladimir Spivakov, Mikko Frank, and with the most important orchestras such as Staatskapelle Berlin, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Orchester de Paris, Orchester National de Lyon, Orchester National de France, Hr-Sinfonieorchester, Munchner Philharmoniker and Bamberger Symphoniker.
His chamber music partners include Sol Gabetta, Yuja Wang, Julia Fischer, Daniel Hope, Joshua Bell, Gautier and Renaud Capuçon, Mischa Maisky, Julian Rachlin and Christian Zacharias.
