Luca Oberti – harpsichord
Luca Oberti began his activity as a conductor at the height of an intense career as a harpsichordist and organist which led him to play with the most important ancient music ensembles in the world, in particular with Les Musiciens du Louvre, of which he is he has long been a soloist and continuist, performing in the most important halls (Teatro alla Scala, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Elbphilarmonie Hamburg, Philarmonie de Paris, Salzburger Festspiele, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Staatsoper Wien, Opéra National de Bordeaux, etc.).
He also develops great experience in the world of opera by regularly collaborating as assistant director and harpsichord master with the main European theaters (Teatro alla Scala, Teatro La Fenice, Staatsoper Wien, Opéra de Paris, La Monnaie Bruxelles, Theater du Capitole Toulouse, Theater an der Wien, etc.).
A student of Donato Renzetti’s conducting, he studied harpsichord with Emilia Fadini, Christophe Rousset and Pierre Hantaï.
As director he recorded a CD dedicated to Vivaldi’s motets for the magazine Amadeus in 2019.
He has also recorded two solo CDs, one dedicated to the harpsichord works of L. Marchand and LN Clérambault, (Stradivarius 2015), and one dedicated to Bach (Arcana 2018). He then collaborated on numerous recordings for Warner, Erato, Glossa and Enchiriadis as well as for the main European radio and television stations (BBC, ORF, RAI, Mezzo, Arte, …).
