Francesca Turcato – viola
Venetian violinist and violist, she began studying the violin at the age of five and continued her career at the Venice Conservatory with masters Giulio Bonzagni and Stefano Zanchetta, graduating in 2006. Subsequently she graduated in Viola at the Vicenza Conservatory with Davide Zaltron.
She perfected his skills with the violinists Anahi Carfi and Roberto Ranfaldi, and held masterclasses with the violists Danilo Rossi and Julia Gartemann.
In the field of chamber music, meetings with the masters Oliver Wille, Reiner Schmidt, Dirk Mommertz and Eberhard Feltz played a very important role.
In 2017 she obtained a Master’s Degree in Chamber Music at the Musikhochschule Hannover.
She has played in many prestigious halls throughout Europe, alongside artists such as Valentin Erben, Bruno Canino, Alberto Ferro, Miriam Prandi, Avi Avital, Uri Caine, Davide Formisano, Massimo Mercelli, Julian Bliss, Derek Bermel.
From 2012 to 2020 she was the violist of the Quartetto Indaco.
He collaborates as First Viola with various Italian organizations: OCM Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali, Orchestra Fondazione Arturo Toscanini di Parma, Symphony Orchestra of Milan, OFI Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Chamber Orchestra Milano Classica, Chamber Orchestra of Venice, Buxus Consort, La Follia Barocca, LaBarocca ensemble; as Viola di Fila with the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Orchestra of the La Fenice theater, Orchestra Leonore of Pistoia.
In 2018 she was personally chosen by Ezio Bosso as First Viola and Soloist of the Stradivari Chamber Orchestra and the Europe Philharmonic Orchestra.
She is a Viola teacher at the ‘Conservatorio S.Giacomantonio’ in Cosenza.
