Trame Sonore ti aspetta
Hai tra i 9 e i 18 anni? Fai musica da camera dal trio al sestetto? Partecipa allo Youth Chamber Music Contest & Meeting e vivi l’esperienza unica di esibirti a Trame Sonore Festival, al fianco dei più grandi cameristi al mondo!
Come partecipare?
Partecipare al contest è semplice: è sufficiente inviare un video della durata compresa tra i 5 e i 20 minuti contenente l’esecuzione di uno o più movimenti di un brano cameristico suonato con il tuo gruppo. Il video dovrà pervenire via e-mail, entro e non oltre il 28 febbraio 2026, all’indirizzo tramesonorecontest@oficinaocm.com. Una Commissione presieduta dal Direttore Artistico del Festival, il M° Carlo Fabiano, visionerà i video pervenuti e selezionerà fino a un massimo di 10 formazioni cameristiche, che saranno invitate a dar vita allo Youth Chamber Music Contest & Meeting, in programma a Mantova nell’ambito di Trame Sonore Festival.
Meeting 2026
Il Meeting avrà luogo sabato 30 maggio 2026 a partire dalle ore 15.00 nella Sala delle Capriate (Piazza Leon Battista Alberti 10, Mantova). Al termine delle esecuzioni i componenti degli ensemble partecipanti riceveranno i diplomi di partecipazione e, inoltre, avranno la possibilità di accedere gratuitamente agli altri appuntamenti del Festival (previa prenotazione e ove la sala non risulti esaurita).
Tre premi a disposizione
Anche quest’anno lo Youth si arricchisce con l’assegnazione di tre premi! Sono previste due tipologie di riconoscimento:
- un premio per il miglior video, assegnato dalla commissione durante la fase di selezione, che garantisce l’ammissione all’edizione 2026 con copertura delle spese di viaggio e soggiorno;
- due premi per le migliori esecuzioni dal vivo, attribuiti a due ensemble durante il Contest dal vivo, che prevedono l’ammissione automatica all’edizione 2027, evitando la preselezione, con copertura delle spese di viaggio e soggiorno.

Trame Sonore is waiting for you
Are you between 9 and 18 years old? Do you play in chamber music ensembles from trio to sextet? Experience the thrill of performing at Trame Sonore Festival alongside the world’s greatest chamber musicians by taking part in the Youth Chamber Music Contest & Meeting!
How to participate?
Participating in the contest is easy. Just send a 5 to 20 minutes video, containing a chamber music performance of one or more movements played by your ensemble. The video must be e-mailed to tramesonorecontest@oficinaocm.com no later than February 28, 2026. A jury chaired by the Artistic Director of the Festival, M° Carlo Fabiano, will review the submitted videos and will select up to 10 chamber music ensembles to participate in the Youth Chamber Music Contest & Meeting, which will take place in Mantua as part of the Trame Sonore Festival.
Meeting 2026
The meeting will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, starting at 3 pm in the Sala delle Capriate (Piazza Leon Battista Alberti 10, Mantua). At the end of the performances, every attendee will receive a participation diploma and will also have free access to other events of the Festival (subject to reservation and availability).
Three prizes available
This year as well, the Youth is enhanced by the awarding of three prizes! The Youth Chamber Music Contest & Meeting will offer two types of recognition:
- one prize for the best video, assigned by the jury during the selection phase, granting admission to the 2026 edition with travel and accommodation expenses covered;
- two prizes for the best live performances, assigned to two ensembles during the live Contest, granting automatic admission to the 2027 edition (bypassing the preselection) with travel and accommodation expenses covered.
