Trame Sonore | Oficina OCM

Trame Sonore is much more than a music festival.

Thematic routes, cultural itineraries, workshops, and talks intertwine with concerts in an international event that is both a meeting place for artists from around the world and a tribute to chamber music. During the days of Trame Sonore, Mantua — a UNESCO World Heritage city — reveals itself to visitors through an unprecedented encounter between music, art, and architecture.

Trame Sonore creates a dialogue between musical masterpieces from every era and the art of Giulio Romano, Andrea Mantegna, Domenico Fetti, Pisanello, and Peter Paul Rubens.

Here, lovers of classical music rediscover a more authentic listening experience: by recovering the original spirit of making and enjoying chamber music, concerts take place in halls whose structure, dimensions, and acoustics evoke the very settings for which this music was originally conceived and composed.

The Festival offers an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to rediscover a city that symbolizes the Renaissance from a unique perspective, through a full immersion in Beauty expressed in its highest forms.

Trame Sonore will take place from May 29 to June 2, 2026. Everywhere, in Mantua.
