Fabio Mureddu

Cello

As a chamber musician, Fabio Mureddu has performed alongside artists such as Salvatore Accardo, Franco Petracchi, the Quartetto della Scala, Valentin Erben, Pavel Vernikov, and Laura Marzadori.

He was a cellist in the Indaco Quartet and in the Karalis Cello Quartet. He earned an advanced diploma in chamber music from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. Selected by Riccardo Muti, he served as principal cello in the Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini, and for several years was a permanent member of the orchestra of the Teatro Petruzzelli Orchestra, as well as principal cello of the Orchestra 1813. He has also performed with orchestras such as the Filarmonica della Scala, the orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Orchestra, and the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova.

He currently collaborates with the ensemble MilanoClassica and the Orchestra Leonore. He is professor of chamber music at the Conservatorio Guido Cantelli.

Fabio will participate in Trame Sonore 2026 as a member of the Trio Etèsio.
