Luca Guidarini is a composer, musicologist, and sound director. His work focuses on the relationship between technological media, performance, and sound itself, with particular attention to composition for mixed music.
His music has been presented at festivals such as the Biennale Musica di Venezia, Music Biennale Zagreb, Traiettorie, Crossroads Festival, and Sound Spaces, among others.
He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Conservatory “L. Campiani” in Mantua, with a research project focused on computer-assisted composition and orchestration in mixed music. He is a member of the research groups CCOrP (Contemporary Composition and Orchestration Practices, Conservatory of Mantua / University of Pavia) and DALM (Dialogic Approaches to Living Music, University of Pavia).
He is also a member of the ensemble Collettivo_21, within which he works as both composer and sound director.
