Ragazze Quartet

Ragazze Quartet

The Ragazze Quartet has established itself as one of the most fresh and relevant voices in the world of classical music, with compelling yet unconventional programming.

In their original and adventurous productions, they address socially relevant themes such as climate change, the history of slavery, grief, and feminism, collaborating with special partners including Abel Selaocoe, Conny Jansen Danst, Jorinde Keesmaat, Lucia Lucas, Via Berlin, Thomas Beijer, Nynke Laverman, and the Kronos Quartet.

They also regularly contribute to the renewal of the string quartet repertoire through commissioned works and special arrangements. Composers such as Aftab Darvishi, Caroline Shaw, Garth Knox, Calliope Tsoupaki, Annelies Van Parys, and Seung-Won Oh have written new works for the quartet.
