Trio Etèsio

Trio Etèsio

The Trio Etèsio was founded in Milan in 2023 with the aim of rescuing from obscurity beautiful pages of chamber music written by so-called “minor” composers of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The trio has performed on major stages such as the prestigious chamber music festival “Trame Sonore” in Mantua, the “Rosario Scalero” Festival in Piedmont, and the “Alt(r)i ascolti” Festival in Chamois. In January 2026, one of its concerts was broadcast in full on Radio3Suite’s “Il Cartellone.”

The name “Etèsio,” suggested by a famous aria from Verdi-Boito’s Falstaff, evokes the Etesian winds of the Mediterranean, which bring warmth and lightness to everything they touch. In the same way, the joy of making music together and the desire to share their explorations with the audience are reflected in the trio’s performances.

Coming from different parts of Italy, the three members have a solid musical education and extensive experience in chamber music, orchestral playing, and teaching.
