Born into a Georgian family in Adana, in southern Turkey, Veriko Tchumburidze studied at the State Conservatory of Mersin University with Selahattin Yunkus and Lily Tchumburidze. In 2010 she began studying with Dora Schwarzberg at the MDW in Vienna as a scholarship holder of the “Young Musicians on World Stages” (YMWS) project.

In the 2023/24 season, highlights include her debut performances with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra alongside Lionel Bringuier, the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto with Wolfram Christ, and her first collaboration on stage with the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra and Julia Jones. She will also undertake a concert tour in Italy with the I Pomeriggi Musicali under the direction of Riccardo Bisatti.

She has performed with orchestras such as the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Wrocław National Forum of Music Orchestra, the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra, the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt, the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Musikkollegium Winterthur, as well as the Munich Chamber Orchestra and the Zurich Chamber Orchestra. She has collaborated with conductors including Łukasz Borowicz, Ruben Gazarian, Sascha Goetzel, Howard Griffiths, Gemma New, Michael Sanderling, Andrey Boreyko, Aziz Shokhakimov, and Dima Slobodeniouk.

She has appeared at festivals such as the Beethoven Easter Festival, Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy, Olympus Musical Festival, Rosendal Festival, and Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, performing with artists including Leif Ove Andsnes, Nicholas Angelich, Lisa Batiashvili, Gérard Caussé, Sol Gabetta, Quatuor Ébène, Clemens Hagen, Maxim Vengerov, and Tabea Zimmermann.

Veriko will participate in Trame Sonore 2026 as a soloist and as a member of the Trio Vecando.
